Speedway Grand Prix: The Result
Well that was an interesting grand prix, with a surprise winner.
There was a delay in the meeting when there was a problem with the tapes not going up at a consistent speed on both sides.
Nigel Pearson and Kelvin Tatum were at the helm on the commentary and the Woffy Woffy Woffy came when the only British rider in the grand prix won a late heat.

The snow has taken us all by surprise this Winter, especially when it has not been forecast in the weather report.

The Golden birds
Last night the elite league final took place after the third attempt to be a lucky charm.

In the last 24 hours it has come to light that the wondrous talent of Darcy Ward may be a doubt for the second leg of the final on Monday at Winbourne Road.

So day three and four and there has been some exciting and shocking results.

Another Claus one!
After a call off on Monday Belle Vue were at Winbourne Road at the Poole pirate speedway club.
Unfortunately on Tuesday one of the double up riders Claus Vissing took another knock by getting a collar bone injury in the premier league meeting of Ipswich v Somerset, where there was an incident between Dakota North and Claus. So Craig Cook was the replacement for Vissing.

Belle Vue Aces just missed out on an away point at Wolverhampton with the final score being 51-42 to the Wolves.
The live meeting for sky was interesting with Lakeside having some real bad luck which the made the final score 36-50 to the robins.

The luck of the......Danish!
With the Saturday night taking over with sport, it was a hard choice on what to watch, so some (eventually little) channel flicking happened.

It has been announced that Edinburgh Monarchs rider Craig Cook will join Belle Vue Aces.
However the tall Dane Patrick Hougaard looks like he will be out with a collar bone injury.
So with the Brit Craig Cook joining the ranks, the next meeting will be on Monday against Wolverhampton Wolves, weather permitting.

Wednesday dealings
The usual Wednesday night speedway meeting was held with Poole Pirates against Swindon Robins.
Last time these two met it rained and the result did not stand. Well the weather was on the pirates side and they caused a storm as well as. Timo Lahti came into the side as reserve.
