For all the wolves fans there is some good news. British born, Australian accent Tai Woffinden had injured his scaphoid.
Yesterday he went for a scan and the good news was that he will be able to ride very soon. That is amazing news for all wolves fans who know that without Tai and Nicolai Klindt the team have been struggling.
It is also good on an international front with team GB gaining his sport back and being secure for the world cup.
Belle Vue Aces just missed out on an away point at Wolverhampton with the final score being 51-42 to the Wolves.
The live meeting for sky was interesting with Lakeside having some real bad luck which the made the final score 36-50 to the robins.
Another week has begun and that means a new week in the speedway fixture list. This evening Belle Vue Aces are in Wolverhampton against the Wolves. Last week the aces got their first win and hopefully another win against the same team could boost the confidence and moral in the team.
On sky there will be Lakeside v Swindon. Let’s hope that the weather stays nice and a good meeting can go under way.
In Poland yesterday Darcy Ward suffered an injury with his hand due to an incident. It is seen that he will not be in the meeting on Wednesday for Poole. Is this a downer for the pirates fans when one of their best riders is out injured, but these things happen and just the best for him and a speedy recovery.
It seems thee rain is yet again getting the best of the speedway. Tonight Swindon Robins were against Wolverhampton Wolves, that has now been called off due to the rain.
Hope the weather improves and it becomes more of a Mediterranean summer rather than a British one!!
Belle Vue Aces have had a change of luck against Wolverhampton Wolves this evening with a win!!!!
You all read that correct Belle Vue had their first win in their tenth meeting of the season. All teams have some points on the board now.
Belle Vue had new signings of Craig Cook who made a return for the aces this season and new signings of Ales Dryml and Renat Gafurov have all made an impact on the team. Unfortunately Patrick Hougaard was out with an injury with a broken collarbone. But hope he makes a speedy recovery.
The aces did not pull one trump card, all riders scored points and all were fighting to win every single point on offer.
The final score was Belle Vue Aces 54-40 Wolverhampton Wolves.
It has been announced that Edinburgh Monarchs rider Craig Cook will join Belle Vue Aces.
However the tall Dane Patrick Hougaard looks like he will be out with a collar bone injury.
So with the Brit Craig Cook joining the ranks, the next meeting will be on Monday against Wolverhampton Wolves, weather permitting.

Also tonight is is Wolverhampton Wolves v Swindon Robins.
But there is the jubilee concert…so get it on!!!!

However the match was abandoned after heat three with nine points each.
Here is a statement from Belle Vue Aces
Unfortunately there was a big crowd today, and even probably some watching it for the first time.
But the aces will be travelling to the home of wolves on the 10th of this month at a regular 7:30pm kick off.
